Composing a New Email

To compose a new email, after you have logged in to the webmail interface, click on the pencil icon in your inbox view as shown below:

You will be presented with two options when you click on the pencil icon. Here is what they mean:

  1. Clicking on this icon will open your new email in a new browser tab or window.
  2. Clicking on this icon will open a view in your current browser tab. We will use this option in this doc.
  1. Enter the email address of your recipient in the Add a recipient field. Collected addresses and addresses you have saved as contacts will automatically be shown as an option for you to click to add.
  2. Click here to add CC recipients (optional).
  3. Click here to add BCC recipients (optional).
  4. Enter your subject in the Subject field (optional, but highly recommended to prevent delivery issues).
  5. You can use the various formatting tools in this pane to format the text in your email and add other inline objects, including composing your email in HTML.
  6. Write out your email content in this text area.
  7. Click the paperclip icon to select and upload a supported file attachment to your email (optional).
  8. Click on the paper plane icon to send your email once you are done.
